Tisari crouched behind a bush, holding her net in her left hand and a rope in the right. Ahead of her was an apple, sitting on the ground, ripe and just begging to be eaten. She'd placed it on it's side and underneath a tree, though, just to make sure it didn't look too suspicious. She tried being as silent as she could, slowing down her breathing as to not let out vibes that might deter any creatures- she kind of believed in those bad vibes, good vibes sort of thing. She was wearing a simple brown top, and dark green kapri pants- hopefully that was camoflauge enough. She was looking for a creature to catch- if she was lucky, no idiots would come by and say, "HI, what's your name?" because they'd scare away everything in the forest. Her eyes snapped back and forth, watching for any rustling in the bushes.

A small Raki snuffled among the bushes, an angry frown on its face. It seemed as if all Rakis wished to kill everyone. In fact, the entire species were foul-mannered, bad-tempered little jerks. That was why they were chosen to be caught for food, especially since they tasted like chicken after the entire species of Hens and Roosters fell and they became extinct. It was a small, pig-like animal with large horns and three red stripes on its back, the body a dark gray color.
It found a berry or two and munched on it, with a look that simply screamed: "I disapprove of life."

Tisari blinked. Not what she'd expected. Boy, that thing looks optimistic. she thought to herself, watching the ugly thing nose it's way around. Good thing it's dumb. Quickly, Tisari tied her rope in a sort of lasso, throwing it at the Raki's head and horns, trying to catch it. The rope flew silently as she threw it- she'd seen people yell a battle cry, but it was too risky to give away her position. As soon as it hit the Raki's body, or was around some spot where she could catch it, she would pull it tight and snug.

The Raki sensed something just before the rope hit it, dashing out of the way as an Aifrux darted into the way, obviously trying to hunt the critter. But by accident the rope grabbed on to its fluffy tail, the fox-creature screeching angrily as it tried to pull itself free. It was white with Light Blue swirl patterns, its wings many shades of blue. They fanned out, a sign of anger or stress.

Tisari beamed. Note to self- use Rakis as bait, not apples. She held the rope steady, before she threw out the net. Like the lasso rope, once it hit whatever she was trying to catch she could pull it tight like a jawstring and trap it, if it all worked out. She stepped out of the bush as she waited in that short period of time that the rope flew through the air, aimed at the Aifrux.

The aifrux screeched like bloody murder under the net, then calmed down with its eyes wide open, a silent snarl in its open mouth. Its belly bulged out as it lay on its side under the net, showing signs that it was pregnant...

Tisari walked out from the bush towards the Airfux and crouched down, wincing slightly from the ear-spitting screech it had let out. She noticed the belly and smiled. "You're pregnant!" she noted. Of course it's pregnant, you don't have to tell it that. Tisari thought to herself. Thinking, she grabbed another one of her apples and offered it to the Aifrux, waiting for it to start eating before she adjusted the rope so that it wasn't on it's tail.

The aifrux stared at her for a moment, as if the fact that she was pregnant was something the whole world knew. {And he might be coming soon!} She screeched, but to most people it was only a distressed howl. She quickly wolfed down the apple, her eye twitching as she devoured the foul-tasting fruit.

Tisari blinked again. Something she'd done a lot that day- she'd become surprised. A lot. The howl that the Aifrux let out was ear-splitting, and Tisari slammed her hand onto her ear so hard that it hurt her hand more than her ear, although they were fairly equal. Squinting, she looked at the Aifrux as it ate and took off the net, untied the rope from it's tail, and tied the rope around it's neck, loosely, as to keep it not too stressed out. She had no idea what the Aifrux had said, but it's belly was so big and it was so distressed- she cut her own thought off. Was the baby Aifrux coming...now?!? Tisari tried to convince herself it wasn't, but either way, it was coming at one point. The creature didn't look like it was anywhere close to moving just now, so she sat down cross legged, with it, watching it with worry. She knew that if she calmed herself down, it would calm the Aifrux down...hopefully...?

OOC: 'He' is her original owner. xD Not the baby. But it is coming anyways.
BIC: The aifrux wobbled towards some bushes with her legs shaking. She fell right there, unable to move any more. She let out a low groan and that was it for a while.
Some branches moved aside and a man looked out, a large knife gripped in his hand and an angry look in his eyes. When he spotted Tisari, he ducked back in and hoped she hadn't seen him.

ooc; Oh. xD Sorry. And screw having teal font, it's a pain. x.x;

Tisari watched warily as the Aifrux wobbled away, and she let the rope hang loosely, cutting it so she didn't use all of it. She only saw the man out of the corner of her eye, but it was a human, not a creature- she knew that for sure. With a gape she realised all she was carrying was a net, some rope, and apples. She picked out another apple, holding it as if it was a weapon of some sort. "Hey!" she called. "Who are you?"

"I have been searching for this particular aifrux for a long time now. She escaped from me when I purchased her from a stall. Quite a hefty sum, she was." The man walked out from behind the trees, cursing quietly. "She is mine and I'd like to have her back."
{Don't let him take me and my children!} The aifrux groaned, a spasm of forced breathing following. The yelp of three baby aifruxes was heard after that, the four creatures still hidden from the two humanoids.

Tisari glanced back at the Aifrux. She had to admit- he bought her- but the Aifrux seemed distressed about him. "She doesn't seem to want to go back with you." Tisari stated defensively, gripping her apple tighter, until she felt a little bit of juice come out as her nails dug into it. She paused and glanced at it before back at the man. "She's just had a baby! The least you can do is be a little patient." she scolded him, frowning. Oh god, I'm stalling. I don't want to put that Aifrux under pressure.... she added silently to herself, glaring at the man.

"Does that even matter? I bought her so she's mine." He growled back, snatching up the knife. "And I could care less if she'd just had a baby, she's still mine and the baby's going to be sold anyways."

Tisari stared. "Well, you must've done something to upset her." Tisari stated angrily. "Why would you sell the baby? That Aifrux is it's mother! She'd hate you even more for that." she added, the hand that wasn't holding her apple turning into a fist. "You have no idea what sort of situation she could be in right now. You have to wait, and I don't care how impatient you are, because you don't have a choice." What the hell am I saying? Tisari clenched her teeth mentally, holding a determined expression on her face. She grabbed a wooden staff that had been strapped to her back- it was thick, and the knife the man was holding wouldn't be enough to cut it unless he bent over it and sawed at it for a while.

"I don't care, there's nothing I can do to upset her. She's just a stupid animal with no feelings anyways. " The man narrowed his eyes and scrunched up his face. "I have a choice, I can do anything I want with her. I paid a good 30k for that pregnant Aifrux and her newborn baby."

"Well that was a waste of money, then." Tisari declared. "Until you get a reality check and realise she's got feelings just like anyone else, I'm not letting you go through." She gripped her staff tigher, tossing the apple over her head towards the Aifrux, in case it wanted some food.

"You think you can stop me?" He growled. The man was a very angry dwarf, except he was about 6 feet tall. He had strong build and had a long, brown beard. He charged towards the girl with his knife out and ready.

"I know I can!" she stated back, widening her stance and throwing her wooden staff in the way of the knife, blocking his attack. Holding steady with both hands, she pushed forwards at the man, waiting for the right moment to grab her other weapons to stall. This guy looked he could kill her if he got the chance- she just had to hold strong. Hopefully he'd give up. "If you leave now I won't hurt you!" she bluffed, although she knew she'd have to fight back at some point or another.

"Hurt me?" This made him stop. The man laughed loudly, shaking his head. "You're just a scrawny little kid. I'm half dwarf and half giant. A weird mix, but I got most of my stuff from my mother, the giant. And no one can kill a giant, especially when they want something." His eyes flickered towards the Aifrux. "That aifrux is Kasira, and she is mine. Nothing you can do will ever get her from me. A lot of money, she's worth." He thrust the knife towards her in an attempt to cut at her face.
