Species Info-
Trok-Spider Treveair Araneide
The Trok spider, while only 5 inches long when newly hatched grows quickly into adulthood where its defensive hard outer shell fully matures. Rock hard and nearly impenetrable to any natural predators, once full grown the Trok spider stands very little risk of being preyed upon. Hardened 'spikes' on its underside protect that as well, and can also be turned into an effective weapon with which to squish smaller prey, and most prey is smaller. Once full grown Trok spiders have been recorded at 8 feet, but the average lies somewhere between five and seven feet. Their legs have developed as well becoming more armor like than can be used as a sort of shield. they are also quiet sharp and it is not uncommon for prey to be skewered upon them. Their webs are massive, and very strong, and if the right threads are harvested from the webs ( the ones that aren't coated in the sticky substance) can be made into a sort of rope stronger than any to date. The Trok spider, when rarely caught and tamed makes an excellent battle pet once it reaches maturity.
