Scillion had proceeded to Dio larey Forest and was now walking easily from tree to tree, it had bvecome a bit of a tight fit on the ground. She was headed for the stream in the forest, hopeing to have the kid catch something aquatic, maybe a few bugs that liked liveing near the watr source as well. She wasn't sure the apprentice was still following her but hopedas much. She was carrying a rather large jar, hidden from sight as it dangled on her back. In case they caught anything that needed constant water.

Weaving in and out of the trees beneath her guide, Lydia kept finding herself glancing up at Scillion as if expecting her to be winding her way down the trees to snatch her up. Shaking her head to dispel nonsensical thoughts, Lydia moved her eyes to the path ahead, keeping pace with Scillion. Wondering vaguely what their destination was, though not entirely minding the pleasant walk, Lydia fell into the harmonic calm of the wind and the moving trees, keeping a tight hand on the nets.

Scillion finally dropped to the ground as the trees startewd to thin, scuttleing through them as they gave out to show the large creek that ran through the forest. She turned around and smiled at Lydia, though this spiders facial features weren't readable. She glanced toward the creek. Krorr had found it not long ago, they had taken a short cut of scillions but the creek was in the very center of the forrest, ad rather well protected from other hunters, so thier should be many creatures around here.

Lydia moved slightly behind Scillion, but as she stopped by the forest stream, Lydia moved forward slightly, smiling slightly as Scillion turned toward her. Then, she walked past her guide to kneel at the bank of the stream looking into the depths. Inquisitively, she turned back to Scillion wondering what she was supposed to do, and how this creature would instruct her. In all her rambles, Lydia had never come across this stream, so deep in the forest. What lurked in here, in the center of this creature-filled woods and by this source of water she could only guess. "What next?" She asked, glancing over her shoulder at Scillion, and smiling, now that they were here exited at the lesson and ready to get started.

A large hole could be seen near the lake, hidden under a bunch of grass and plants. The only way it could be seen was if, at the moments like this, it was spotted when the creature inside was moving. The grass and weeds around it twitched as whatever it was switched positions, or dug down deeper into the hole.

As Lydia turned back to look int the stream, movement caught her eye, a twitching of the leaves of assorted plants, a rippling of grass. At first she thought it was just the wind, then realized the wind had stopped blowing. Glancing back at Scillion she pointed to the patch of oddly moving grass, rising carefully to her feet, and studying the area carefully, readying the weighted net in one hand. Slowly she took a step forward, wondering if Scillion would want to take this opportunity to show her something, or if her guide was merely there to make sure she didn't kill herself.

The latter geuss was probably more correct. For now Scillion didn't move, she didn't need the humans pointing she had already noticed the movement. She stood stock still, observeing Lydia.

Shrugging, Lydia moved forward, gripping the net tightly in one hand, and taking up a good-sized stick in the other. With the latter she moved forward, and poked hard at the leaves and grass. She knew she would be giving away the element of surprise, but at the same time, throwing her net over the moving grass wouldn't do much good. After pushing aside some of the debris, Lydia dropped the stick and sprang back, her left hand hovering above the hilt of her dagger.

The creature faced her, irritated. It resembled a green cat, with two aqua colored eyes and webbing between it's toes. Only the front could be seen in the hole, and it hissed at her angrily, revealing a blue slimy looking tongue. It's ears were backwards in an intimidating effort to scare her, and it bared it's small teeth on random intervals.
(Whoever is reading this, please don't take over the creature because I have a good idea for it. xD)

Lydia jumped backward in surprise, then relaxed, seeing the size of the odd cat-like creature. Her left hand grabbed her dagger, just in case this creature was more dangerous than it appeared. Her left gripped the net more tightly, and she took a small step forward, looking with curiosity at the aquatic cat.

The cat stared at her for a second, still hissing, then turned around in it's home, and walked deeper in. The flashing of a stranged green tail can be seen, and then silence. Then, a large tearing can be heard as plants are uprooted a ways away from you. A bigger, much bigger hole is revealed, and in it is a large puddle of water. The 'small' cat walks out, sopping wet, and not so large anymore. It's about the size of a tiger, and it has strange coral spikes on it's back. It hisses, and approches Lydia.

Quickly, Lydia twirled the weighted net by a corner above her head, her brain buzzing in surprise and slight fear. Why was every little thing she encountered turning big, she asked herself, thinking of the crab. reminding herself that Scillion wouldn't let her die, she calmed herself in one breath. she couldn't mess up her aim because of fear. Releasing the net from her grasp watching it soar through the air. She was hoping to capture the aquatic tiger in this manner, and that she wouldn't have to fight it dagger on claws.

Scillion haad no intention of letting the girl use her silly little piece of metal, she scuttled quicly over and stood overtop of the girl, her legs like giant black pilars rideing from the earth, inky black eyes all focused on the Tiger.
