Trying to find another compainion

[Nic]

Nic rode along as Shield slowly made it's way through the mountians. He really didn't mind the slow pace, it was actually quiet refreshing. But he kept his eyes sharp, looking for what he came for. He needed a small creature, maybe something that could fly. The stalls hadn't had anything he wanted so he came out here to catch his own. He would take a large creature if it chose to come with him. The only kind of creature he would actually fight to capture was something small. He need a compainion that could come everywhere with him. Something that could maybe ride on his shoulder or in his bag.

Shield looked up at Nic, *New friend?*

Nic nodded, "Yes Shield we are looking for a new friend."

[Cricket]

Something stared at him, covered in dirt. It was a strange pair of eyes, matching the color of the ocean, blinking every once in a while. Investigate?

[Nic]

Nic didn't notice anything and continued walking. But when Shield poked him with his tail spike, he turned. Shield turned and pointed his tail to the eyes. Nic nodded and slowly walked towards the pair of eyes, his staff in hand.

[Cricket]

The eyes blinked, before disappearing. Dirt flew out of the hole that they had been seen in, as whatever it was appeared to be digging deeper into the ground. A small brown flash can be seen, before burrowing down. It's going a bit slow, and could easily be beaten if someone were to dig after it..

[Nic]

Nic smiled as he realized what the creature was doing. Shield was a extremely fast digger, despite his young age. "Shield go after it." He said and Shield nodded digging after the creature.
